The best bar in new Orleans if you want to meet the locals. No frills, good beer, great company. Little place that's been running for 4 generations. Just pop in and chat

I can't say enough about this place and its owners. Rodney makes you feel like family as soon as you walk in the door. Sure we went to other great restaurants and breweries and musical venues in New Orleans, but Little People's was hands down our most memorable experience. It might be called Little People's but their hearts are so big. And if they happen to be serving food, get it and you won't regret it. Xo

Rodney was so kind to us today, served us the coldest beers, took time out of his busy day to chat with us and joke and make us feel at home. I hope he comes to Detroit one day because I'd love to show him the same hospitality and family love he showed us today. Take care Rodney! You made our anniversary in NOLA a wonderful one!

This is a very Little family owned bar expressly designed for Little People. The owner says his family are little, so he called it LIttle Peoples Place. There are six or so seats inside at the bar, room to stand, and outside in front people congregate on benches with a few tables. "Little Peoples" is full of regulars and they are pretty friendly folks. I myself like to dance when I go there and they are very appreciative of my moves! Fish fry of Fridays, old school New Orleans. The fish is good but be ready to hang out a while before you get your food. it's served in a to-go container. the music is loud inside and you gotta be up for the whole scene or you won't have fun. It's a good place to experience, come as you are, black, small, big, white, trans, or.... local and just out of jail. All are welcome here.

A real gem in Tremé with lots of local history. We had a great time enjoying ice cold beer and chatting with Rodney, the owner of this great little local bar. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and it was a highlight of our time in NOLA.
